Lillian White (Director) is a theatre artist whose work has appeared at HERE Art Center (Galahad & the Dragons), The Brick (Ubiquibird), Governor’s Island (a bathtub dreams of the sea), Dixon Place (& LIGHT) in NYC; BorderLight International Fringe Festival in Cleveland (Birdbrain); and Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh (Peter Pan & Wendy, Stuff Happens, Selene & the Dreameater), among others. She has assistant-directed for Shana Cooper’s Julius Caesar at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and TFANA, and for Pálína Jónsdóttir’s Darkside at Burning Coal Theatre. Arif Silverman is an actor, teacher, and writer of “American Fantasy Theater”. Previous shows include his four solo plays: Nolie Min Tangible (Dixon Place), Constellarium (Access Theater), Galahad and Dragons (BorderLight Festival), and American Refugee (IATI Theater); his children’s musical The Stray (14th Street Y); and his short play Remove the Serpent’s Head (Ma-Yi Theater Company). Dream of Rays is the first in a series of fantasy plays called The Titan Cycle, chronicling sixty years of environmental and political turmoil in a world not unlike our own. The second play in this series, a radio play called BlackBlade, is available to stream on The Fantasy Network and other platforms. Played the lead role in Off-Off B-way show “Jouen” inspired by Yukio Mishima directed by Lee Douglas in NYC. Stared in an action short film “Onika” directed by Corey Brammah in USA. Played the lead role in “Ordinary Days” directed by Takashi Horie.
marcos rené ospina is a “comedic horror folk” musician who’s appeared at Baby’s All Right, Rubulad, Sidewalk Cafe, 54 Below, Green Room 42 and a clown who performs disruptively/joyously. In 2021 they devised and publicly performed a street play unshrouding the classist and racist city planning history in their hometown of Boulder, Colorado, and advocating to end the anti-homeless camping ban. With Ray Elizabeth, marcos wrote and performed the musical Type Me Queer on the Dixon Place mainstage. Kimiko Jackson-Valle (Leda Perrimyre) makes her stage debut with The Rogue Players Theater Company. While attending school, she spends her time performing in educational and regional theatre, playing Dotty in Caroline or Change (Shubert Broadway Junior), Dr. Cantway in The Laramie Project (Camarillo Skyway Playhouse), and Jessi in The Monologue Show (Alpha NYC Theatre Company). She has also appeared in a limited Amazon Prime series as Lexi in Concrete Jungle and is currently starring in her first feature film. Kimiko would like to thank the multitalented cast and crew, and her mother for all of their support, wisdom, and encouragement.
Angel Zeas is a non binary latinx writer/actor living in New York City. Their recent credits include “Call Me When You Get This” a zoom theater production which explored heartbreak in the digital age and, the upcoming sci-fi short film “Do Digital Curanderas Use Eggs in Their Limpias?”. They have also had previous experience working with the Rogue Players in a staged reading of their play “Sol Town” and they are more than happy to be working with them again!
“Dream of Rays” is a long overdue return to live theater for Angel. Being an avid lover of sci-fi and fantasy, they remark that the opportunity to be a part of a theatrical fantasy epic feels “correct.”
Emmanuel Elpenord (Clara) is a Haitian-American actor, puppeteer, improvisor, and voice-artist from Brooklyn, New York. A triple-major, magna cum laude graduate of Brooklyn College, his handiwork has been a familiar sight throughout NYC for nearly a decade. Most recently, he’s played Eeyore, Rabbit, and Owl in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh with Rockefeller Productions (Off-Broadway & Mercury Theater, Chicago). He’s also performed in the first Off-Broadway, regional, national, and international tours of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (Rockefeller Productions). He’s otherwise toured nationally with TheaterWorksUSA’s The Pout-Pout Fish as Bully-Bully Shark, and currently puppeteers at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater in Central Park.
During the 2021 mayoral election, he featured in a city-wide ranked-choice voting PSA through We Speak NYC and the Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs. As a long-standing member of The Drilling Company, he’s played Othello, Oberon, Duke Orsino, and Duke Vincentio in Bryant Park Shakespeare. He’s performed, taught, and studied improvisational theater with Artistic New Directions, under greats such as Gary Austin, Michael J Gellman, Irene Carrol, Scotty Watson and David Razowsky. This spring made him a proud member of Shirley Hamilton Talent Agency (Chicago).
